My 4-month-old 58" Samsung Plasma went blank on me. They came to repair it. It worked for about 30 minutes, then went blank again. They came back. About 45 minutes into the second repair, the repairman says, "hey, your screen is cracked! That's not under warranty!"


Well, the screen wasn't cracked before. I think there are good chances he cracked it. He and Samsung are refusing to do anything about it.


Am I being unreasonable in thinking the repair company or Samsung should do something for me?

Call the Attorney General's office and file a fraud complaint. This will usually get peoples attention and makes them a lot friendlier toward a resolution. :)

Samsung and the repair guys finally agreed to replace the panel at no cost to me. OF course, they are making me wait a month because it is out-of-stock, but at least it is getting fixes.
