Watch WMV HD videos off a DVD-R on Xbox 360?

Apparently you can now watch windows media encoded HD videos off a DVD-R using the kiosk demo disk provided to stores. all you have to do is rename the windows HD video you want to watch and burn to DVD to cod2.wmv or any of the other 1st gen games and put it in the video folder, then burn as UDF format. resolution up to 1080p supported. I got the files and info off a newsgroup site. i got the dreaded light of death after 4 days of purchasing my 360, so it is now with Microsoft and so I can't test it out until i get my sytem back. if anyone has the kiosk files and encoded WMV HD material, can you test it out and let us know, if not i'll do it but can't report until next week. Anyway, if it works, that would be awesome.
