I'm trying to determine what type/size UPS I need for my new 4677 tv??? What is the wattage rating for this set?? Sorry for my ignorance? Also, anyone know why this model is no longer listed on the Samsung web site & the 4674 is? Maybe that's why Fry's was selling so cheap, but why?? Thanks for the help?

Wattage rating should be on the label on the back of the display. Also, it should be in the specifications section of the owner's manual. The manual may still be available on the mfgrs. website under 'support' in a pdf file.

Many UPS now have a wattage rating printed in their spec. often times right on the box. If not, take the VA rating (for example, APC375, APC600, etc.) and take 60% of that value for the wattage rating.

Add at least another 50 to 100 watts for some reserve. So if your display is 250 watts, then get a UPS rated for at least 300 watts. An 600 VA UPS would handle approximately 360 watts, and so on.
