I have purchased in France three weeks ago an cosmopoliton electrol “Daliteâ€( 4/3 Damat 80†width ) when I have installed it , i was surprised : surface wasn’t plane at all : larges diagonals waves from left and right bottom corners to up center of the screen

When i raise up or down 5†waves ++ up or down 5†more waves decrease but always little swellings like wet paper . French retailer FVS says it’s normal itsn’t a tensionned or fixed screen I don’t think so ( I havn’t this problem with my old ( fifteen years ) manual screen “Procolor†except borders recurvating

First, thank you for buying a Da-Lite product. It sounds like the screen you have received may have a bent roller. We will be contacting FVS to see what we can do to arrange for a replacement. Your screen should not be exhibiting those characteristics and it should be flat.
