Web TV Keyboard mod?

I have no clue which forum would be best suited for this... but I have a phillips webTV in mint condition that has an IR Keyboard. The keyboard seems a perfect fit for the new 360 chat system.. and would be Uber-geek! if I could make it work. lol

Any thoughts, suggestions, or links?
