Anyone have some suggestions on where I can go to to purchase speakers. I've been to newegg (bought my center and floorstanding Polks) and Amazon. I'm looking for a pair of cherry bookshelf speakers that are smaller in size.

I assume you got the Monitor series from Newegg ??

If you are looking for the Monitor 30's in cherry veneer I'm afraid you will have to keep searching Google to find some, all retailers I have checked have sold out.


For surrounds, which are not going to be in your immediate viewing area, why not black or even white if it fits your decor ?? You certainly can get the newer current line of Polk bookshelves in cherry but you are going to pay a MUCH higher price.

Yeah I got the Monitor 50's and CS10 center speaker from newegg.com. I don't want to get the Monitor 30 b/c it's to big. Loooking to find something with a height of 8" at the max. Not sure if I will find a bookshelf that size may have to go satellite.
