I haven't used the WebTV part of UTV for about 4 months. Now when I connected to the internet, it wants me to sign up as if I were a new subscriber. It only gives me the option to use an existing hotmail.com or msn.com account or sign up for a new webtv.net address....


I already have a webtv.net address..Is there a way I can use my existing webtv.net address so I have access to all my previous info? I have my hotmail.com address in now, but would prefer to use my webtv.net address...

Are you using a different receiver this time? WEBTV synchronizes accounts with the UTV serial number?


Just enter your previous webtv id you used last time..when it asks to move to new receiver reply yes.


If you have more than one utv each utv carries it's own webtv account.. kind of a bummer in away.. but there's a reason for it.
