This is really a weird problem and I'm not even sure of who to contact to resolve it.
It starts out with a Panasonic SS and a dish500 receiver. The channel in question is 9403 (BYUTV). Now the Channel Guide shows this as channel 920. I can type 920 + enter and it does exactly what I expect. Nothing weird so far.
Now when I try to record a program as a show based recording, the display says BYUTV 993?! I also tried to record from a find search and it did the same thing. The odd thing here is that in the blue bars that list the show, it's 920, but in the blue menu at the top it says 898?!
Disregarding this I set a recording anyway and then when I check the channel guide, it says that channel 898 is where it will record from.
I couldn't believe it myself, but I repeated this test three times and got the same weird results.
Does anyone have any idea what's going on?
