Weird green bars from HDTV

I think my box may be defective from comcast but I was wondering if anyone else had had similar issues. When using component from my HDTV DVR box from comcast I get these weird large green horizontal bars through my screen, looks like about 3 of them each about a foot tall (on a 110" screen from an HD70). The whole picture looks crappy and it's not just for certain channels. And even stranger when I connected it using HDMI is looked fine. Anyone else have any similar issues?
