I have not seen the 240K but I went to www.projectorcentral.com and both projectors look like they are based on the same Chassi so it looks like the lens will fit the 240K.

The throw is different though. The 240K has a larger zoom range. So the 16x9 lens will work at one end of the spectrum but it may run out of range at the other end depending on how large you zoom your picture.

Well I think you are talking about the lens that mounts directly to the projector with the housing made for the NEC. Thats worth something in itself. It makes for an easier install and a cleaner look.

The Panamorph is a solid performer.

ddog,

I have the 240 and the 1000, the lens ring is an exact match. From what I've seen the 1100 and the 240k have the same ring so the lens should fit all four machines. I did not like the anamorphic lens, I view a lot of old movies and videos that aren't anamorphicaly squeezed and it was a pain to change the lens back and forth.

He said that he borrowed the lens from a friend.

You can buy them brand new for around $800.00 US.
