Try this for fun...


When the new episode plays tomorrow, count how many times people say "OK". This is one of the cute quirks of the writing style in this show that everyone seems to be saying "OK" to each other all the time, usually following a slight pause.


typical example...


Josh: "So, are we done?"

Toby: "...... (pause) ... yeah!"

Josh: "...... (pause) ... OK".

As it turns out, West Wing won't be preempted for Game 7 of the ALCS playoffs because there won't be a Game 7. Unfortunately, the channel guide doesn't know the Yankees won yesterday. Hopefully, I can ask Replay to record the game and I'll get West Wing and Law & Order instead.

Thanks for the tip Chris, I would have missed the show without that. In the future when this occurs you can use the VCR style recording to get just the show you want without having to record the whole baseball game time slot....

OK, so my Replay (SS) doesn't have 3.0, but it does have the last beta version of 3.0, so I could have manually recorded the West Wing. However, that machine already had Star Trek: Voyager scheduled to record. My other Replay doesn't have 3.0, it has 2.1, so I couldn't manually record the West Wing and I didn't want to record 3 hours of a non-baseball game, so I used my TiVo to manually record the West Wing.


Got it?
