I just bought the LG 50PN5300 at Frys. However, I think its a tad too small. Coming from a 55" Sony SXRD. The LG looks great, just use to the bigger size of a 55". Sears has this as good deal right now. I know the sound may be bad but I do have a sound bar.

I'd appreciate any feedback. Primary use will be for gaming on Xbox One.

Thanks,

we have @ home one of those.

the picture is decent out of the box i haven't set it up yet.

however. the sound is HORRIBLE.

the sound range is like mid low frequencies so the bass and treble eq won't do any difference.

pros:

low cost

size

decent image out of the box

cons:

un fixable horrible sound.

you should pair it with a sound bar, stereo or surround system because the sound is awful compared to other flat tvs.

edit 1: the tv only has a coax out and if it is like some older entry level sony lcd tv's spdif out it will create lag between the tv and the audio source but i haven't tested that yet.

edit 2: at least the spdif out doesn't lag like i feared.
