On Amazon, I see BR discs (e.g., The Departed) advertised as 'new', for ~ $15, from various 'Amazon Merchants'. Are these ligitimate? Are the discs really new, and not some cheap copies?

What willpooted said. Amazon will list items for sale by other parties. I have purchased a few CD's by this method. I look for feedback of 100%. Be careful of low prices and low feedback scores.

I just bought Ice Age: The Meltdown for $14 (plus $2.59 shipping) from one of those stores - cdwarehouse200 - and I got it in two days. I couldn't believe it.

the only thing about those great prices, I worry they will send the SD version instead of the BD or HD.

I've ordered two so far, the Ice Age (above) and Elvis Costello. Both times I saved money and got them fast, and they were BD.


I wouldn't risk it to save a dollar or two, but so far I've had good luck with them and saved over $10 from the Amazon price in each case.
