I'm gonna be building two sealed shiva subs, each in 3.5cu enclosures. And i want something to power them. I didn't wanna get two 500w plate amps because thats a hassle and more expensive, any advice? The cheaper the better.

It looks like at this enclosure size they will reach Xmax at 20Hz with 500 watts per sub. You could always use the old standby, the EP2500. Run one sub in parallel on each channel to provide up to 650 watts per sub. This will leave the amp with some headroom. The EP2500's can be had for less than $300 shipped.

I have been using the Nady with good results for about 7 months. One side of the Nady is powering a Shiva subwoofer.
