I'll be purchasing a high def adapter for my XBox, and I've read that it doesn't include a cable for 5.1 surround sound. What cable do I need to buy to utilize this feature? Thanks.

An optical cable is the only option.

The RCA audio outputs (not inputs) are for stereo or Dolby Pro Logoc only.

The HD pack can be modded for Coaxial Digital output if you need it vs. Optical [ very simple to do actually ] .

You need this:

Monster Cable Lightwave 100X Fiber Optic Cable

I bought one on eBay for $27 a few days ago. Unlike most of the Monster products, there is usually only 1 or 2 for sale at any one time. If you look at the plug portion that plugs into the back of the XBox, you'll see a small mini plug. The optical port plugs into that and an optical cable is included in the package.

Actually, the Monster XBox Fiber Optic cable is just a regular optical cable w/ a seperate adapter for use with the Monster Xbox video cables. If you don't use the adapter, it should work just fine, but may be overkill and a waste fo money if you don't have the Monster video cables.
