I'm looking at a document overhead camera (think of a high res camera that is meant to be installed on the ceiling) .

The input will be either directly to a Video Display or I may input it to a PC and use a software in conjunction.

This is kinda ad-hoc for with a computers/display/etc on the wall.

I've yet to decide on which unit I will get.Tentatively, the unit I'm looking it has VGA, DVI, USB, ethernet for POE.

The run from the media console/computer to the ceiling location is about 20-25 feet.

I may run a simple 3.5mm MIC coming out of this ceiling as well.

Should I prerun any HDMI or just run 3-5 Data Lines and use Baluns all the way ?
