I have $300 to spend on a camcorder. I need it for outdoor sports at the cottage such as filming waterskiing, and hunting, I would prefer if it was good enough that if I slow it down it will see a pellet being fired. There are slow-motion viedos on youtube that show the pellet being shot, and that is what I want..I dont need that many features these are really the only things I will be doing. Please give me some feedback!

I'm looking for a good camcorder also. I want one that records in HD, mac compatible and had nightshot capabilities. I'll spend up to $1,000.

So far the only one I've seen with nightshot is sony and they are not mac compatible. Is there a way to run them on mac even though they are not compatible?

the sony is mac compatible, they just don't come with Mac software. Buy the software

For $320 theirs the Sanyo HD1010. It has 1080 60i, 30p and 720 60p. With 720 60p you can slow that down for slowmotion. It may be over your budget but for $400 theirs the Sanyo FH1. It has a 1080 60p mode for full HD slow-motion.
