A friend, with leftover cable from another job, ran the Extron MHR-5p from my basement to my living room (2 runs about 30 feet) and then left an Extron RGB 440. (He said this is great stuff and he's gonna hook me up)

Most of my A/V stuff is in the basement (HTPC, Directv, Receiver, DVD player, Xbox360). In the living room is my 46 inch Sony xbr3. Needless to say, it's more than a year later and I don't know what to do with this cable sticking out of my walls and this 440.
Spending a few dollars to make this workable or cool is not out of the question.
