I have some dvd players that are valuable to me: they have macrovision disabled, not easily done with the new dvd players.

Recently i am seeing " no disc" error, as original video dvds are spun around, and then no disc shows up.

Is it a simple laser alignment out of groove over time, or is it dirty lens ?

Is it fixable?

Dirty and weak lasers ar the major cause of the no disc errors.
