I am using a Radeon 7000 with powerstrip and it causes the desktop (and everything else) icons to wobble back and forth. It is not enough to see on a small crt display but can only be seen with my front projector 10 foot wide. I know for sure it is not a problem with the cables, extron box, or projector because those have all been swapped out with no change in results. I also swapped the computer power supply and that did not help.

If I only use the normal settings from ATI drivers without powerstrip I am fine. I have also noticed that the wobble using powerstrip is based on the line rate. For example, if I am below 720p it is very slow and hard to see but at 960p it gets pretty fast and obvious.

Does anyone know what causes this? Any easy way it can be fixed?

Thanks for any comments or solutions you might have.

It sounds like a sync problem between your card and the projector/CRT - that is, they have trouble with the timings. You might want to play with the +/- Horizontal/Vertical sync settings...that might help!
