krasmuzik,

Do you think the Sim2 300E comes closer than the Optoma H79?

Thanks,

Frank
I am looking at the Dwin TV3e because it has lens shift, not sure about its' lumesn spec.
ftlee,

I think it was scott in the H79 thread that measured a Sim2 and not happy that the brightness did not correlate to the hype - or maybe he missed a setting. Sim2 never publishes lumens historically. PM scott for his measure. AVS has calibrated them - so surely they would give you the info in PM.

I think only Infocus and Projection Design Action would measure up.
krasmuzik,

Scott who?

Frank
scotthorton unless I have my deleted PMs crossed!
The SIM2 is plenty bright and remember you get a 8000 hour bulb. Try to locate a dealer who will demo it for you. Greg
By plenty bright - ftlee means he wants a 123" plasma - thus he requires 1000 real lumens not marketed!

Of course that bright and big would blow my eyes out - but to each his own!

Yes, 123" plasma is what I am after. angilasaurus where are you? I thought you said in another thread that the 300E was just shy of the 7205 in brightness (maybe 800-900 lumens) is that correct?

Thanks,

Frank
