What else do I need on my screen wall besides a screen? I'm curious what components go into a quality home theater around the screen, and most importantly why. Are there any good articles or posts someone could point me to where I could learn what I should be looking to add and why? I'm thinking everything from what paint color, accoustic treatment to use around the screen to stages, soffits, prosceniums (seriously, what is that?), etc. Thanks for any input, direction, advice.

There have been numerous discussion threads on these various topics, but I'm sorry that I can't point you to a specific one. Try searching on procenium--there are several theaters that include these. Try searching front wall acoustics to find the type of treatment that works best.
