I currently own the Sharp LC-37G4U (HD-Ready TV) and I am interested in getting the few broadcasts that Comcast sends out through it's cable in HDTV without paying/renting the box from them.

So...What do I need to decode my Comcast Cable for HDTV?

Does anyone have experience with this...?

That model does not have a built in ClearQAM tuner, so you won't be able to access the in the clear HD channels broadcast on Comcast Cable without an external tuner. If you don't want to rent one from Comcast, you can try the Samsung SIR-T451, or the LG-LST4200, both of which have onboard ClearQAM tuning capability. With either unit you should be able to tune all of the unscrambled digital cable signals on your particular cable system, including any HD stations.

By the way, your home theater system is very, very nice. :)
