motherboard= Abit ABAI7 $111

cpu= Intel P4 3.0GHZ w/ Hyper-Threading $178

Ram= 1GB PC3200 DDR400 400MHz $63 (x2)

Video Card= Nvidia Geforce 440MX 8x AGP 128mb W/TV+DVI $41

Sound Card = Maya 7.1 Surround Sound $26

DVD+-RW = Nec ND-3520A-GW $42

HD DVR Card = MyHD MDP-130 w/ VGA to RGBHV RCA 6 ft & DVI-D10 $219 (x2)

HTPC Case= Chenbro - SR103 Black $215

hard drives= 250GB Maxtor 8mb 7200rpm ata $73 (x2)

os= MythTV

Total cost so far $1323 + shipping & any taxes

Ok I know this may sound like overkill. But I plan on having 1 of the myhd cards recording from my Dish network, and the other from my home security cam (on 24/7)

An older DISH 5000 receiver w/modulator used to be the ticket.

MyHD cards can only record HD from their OTA tuner not from an external HD source like a satellite receiver. So that means you can only record HD on that "DVR" from an antenna and local HD channels.
