Will it be up to the task of blu ray 1080p files of varying types including HD Flash on a 37"? Also I am not sure about the case, can you recomend a better one thats not too big or expensive and wont look too bad by my tv. ebuyer.com/product/143893

A lot more if you really intend to run a 95W Phenom X3, which I don't recommend you do. Frankly, it's pure overkill.

You'd be better served by paying more attention to the video chipset than the CPU. This board , for instance, will run rings around the Asus for video decoding. Pair it with any 65W core2 duo processor and it will meet your requirements. It will run a heck of a lot cooler too.

Totally agreed with candre. The X3 is an overkill and the graphic chipset is quite weak, and really hot.

But i still think you should get at least a 400W PSU. A 450-500W one would give you room to grow/upgrade while being quiet. IMO, i like the coolermaster models. The silent models (M500) are modular and never let me down.

You might want to plan a wireless keyboard/mouse combo and/or a universal remote if you do not have one already. See logitech.

cheers!

Thanks for the replies.

Okay what about:

Intel Pentium Dual Core E5200

Asus P5N7A-VM GeForce 9300 motherboard

Antec Minuet 350 Piano Black Slimline MATX Case - With 350W PSU

Will that mobo and cpu be better than an AMD 780G the Athlon 5050e?
