I don't have any LAN connections run to the living room (or cable). (It's an old house and I have cable in the bedroom and office. I have to open the ceiling in the rental downstairs to run the wires.)


This has a PCMCIA slot, so I can put in a NetGear 802.11a wireless adapter and copy files from an All-In-Wonder card. I'd basically use it for watching recorded programs.


If I put in PC133 memory and a 1GHz PIII is this powerful enough for one of the HDTV tuner cards?
