What fits my need?

I'm new to DVD recorders, although have wanted one for a while. there are so many different kinds out there I'm not sure what to get. My main purpose is to record old NBA VHS games on to DVD and also record some NBA games in HD that are saved on my D* HD DVR. I'm currently looking at a SAM DVD-VR335 and was wondering if that would be an OK unit for my needs or if I should look at something else?

I have the Samsung DVD-VR330 and I know it's capable of doing what you describe since that's exactly how I use it. I think the difference between the VR330 and VR335 is that yours upscales over HDMI.
