After E3 and all the hoopla, I was amazed on what is coming out.


I am really looking forward to playing Star Wars Battlefront on my 106" screen with the full blast orchestra encouraging me to hunt down all the Rebel scum!


Any games you are looking forward to?

I would say that Resident Evil 4 and Metroid Prime 2 have me the most excited this fall. Those games just look to be incredible.

Too many darn games coming out to really know, but to pick one Halo 2 is the must play.


Sid Meier's Pirates! (on the PC or Xbox?) should get a nice chunk of time as the sleeper hit of this year for me, if it is as good as the original.

I'm one of the few who really didn't care too much for Halo. I guess it fills the space left by Goldeneye, which I was a big fan of back in the day, but it can't touch the superior pc shooters on the market and about to come out.


The game I'm looking forward to most this fall is ESPN Football 2k5. The new stat tracking stuff looks sweet, and they are putting in even /more/ animations for a better flowing visual game, like off-balance animations and Maximum Tackle, like Maximum Passing from last year (I love playing defense, so that's huge for me).


I just wish there were a pc version

The new SW game definitely looks cool. I don't get a lot of time to play but I am planning on definitely buying Halo 2 and getting Xbox Live. I'm also excited about the EA sports titles online. NCAA Football will allow me to play a friend who just moved to FL for work. My Seminoles are going to be kicking the hell out of him all season long.


One thing I will say, when I'm calling the shots FSU always shutsdown and crushes Miami. It would be nice if Bobby Bowden could at least get his team together this year and not get routed by them in the first game...sheesh .

I've seen nothing that makes me think it will be anything but another generic id game. Quake was the last iteration of Wolfenstein 3D I bought.


If they can out-survival-horror the RE series and Silent Hill, I'll be goddamned impressed. But id's complete lack of ability at making interesting single player games colors me skeptical.


But it'll look purty if you dig the juvenile jr high school creature design....

This is the game I am most anticipating. DOA3 is my favorite game on XBox, and the idea of online play in a "fighter" is exciting.
