Hi

A thought just poped into my fragile little mind.

When I read reviews of digital projectors, there is often some sort of mention about how the picture has "a digital look to it". Now, what if digital projectors came before CRT's. Would we still be reading this? Or would we instead read about the CRT's having "an analog look to it"? And would it still be concidered better than digital? Maybe we would have gotten used the digital picture, and accepted it as state of the art PQ, and thus frown upon the analog picture?

Just a thought :)

PS: I'm a CRT owner myselfe (yet)

Now if you really want to stir the pot, post this over on the CRT forum and brace yourself!

It's a good point, though. I could just see all the CRT posts labeling digital as dying technology, etc., etc.

:)

Things have been dull around here lately, maybe this will stir things up.

That's the same as asking "What if transistors came before vacuum tubes. :)
