Sorry for a beginner question but I am a newbie.


I hear 8-VSB metioned often and I was wondering what it was ? Can someone tell me ?


I do have HDTV set up at home from TWC. Super Bowl looked great !


The few HD channels are fantasic and very clear but I am still trying to learn as much as possible.

It's the modulation technique used for over-the-air broadcast of Digital TV in the US. Other modulation techniques include QAM (used by cable systems ) and COFDM (used in Europe I believe).
