All I am going to be watching is DishNetwork Sat TV via S-Video input.

Which ED plasma display works well.. 37 inch or 42 inch.

Thanks

I have DTV, but the PQ ought to be about the same as Dish. Very satisfied with a 37" Panasonic ED. I should expect the 42" would be about the same, but I have seen a few complaints about the "screen door" effect with that size. Depends a lot on your viewing distance.

I have the 37" and 42" pwd6UY's, and use Dish Network.

The SD signal on these sets is great once you calibrate the sets. The screen door, for my eyesight, is not an issue. 7' from the 37", and 10' for the 42."

The HD signal I put through these puppies is truly amazing.

The price point is hard to beat for the quality you get from the panny.

If I were you, I'd try composite and s-video, to see which gives you better quality picture. The panny has better electronics than the Dish STB, and may give you a better pic with composite than s-video.

Cheers, VB
