What is this Hisense brand?

I've wondered upon this brand while surfing the overstock site

does anyone know anything about it. Seems to be reasonably priced for an HD plasma, but brandwise, I've never heard of it. Must be a Chinese or Taiwanese brand but I am speculating. The remote control on the picture looks very funky, like DIY
