I have a Marantz SR5010 which I bought used and the guy didn't have the calibration mic. At the time I could buy one for $25 but I didn't bother. Now I want one and the price has shot up to around $50.

What calibration mic do current receivers use and can I use it with mine? I figure a mic in production will be cheaper.

Thanks!

the current 2020 Marantz SR5015 uses the same Microphone as your sr5010, they're probably just in short supply which is why the price has gone up.

What's in the box:
Marantz SR5015 (2020 model) owner's manual
  • 7.2ch AV receiver
  • 6' AC power cord
  • Remote control (RC042SR)
  • 2 "AAA" batteries
  • Sound calibration microphone (ACM1HB)
Huh - well I guess I can live without one lol. Thanks for the information!
