What res is best for radeon/philips 55pp9701

HI,I got a Radeon card today for my HTPC.So far I can get it to do 960x540,800x600,640x480.Would a higher res using powerstrip give me a better picture for dvd,s and Dscaler.If so,if you could post the custom setting strings.Thanks Gregg
