Okay folks. I'm in urgent need of your advice.

What is the full gamut of prewires you would recommend running to an Infocus 7200 DLP front projector in a dedicated HT room (new construction)?

These are what I am thinking so far:

Component/RGB

S-Video

DVI

12V trigger connection for screen

12V trigger connection to the equipment for future proofing

Any sort of control wire?

I'm trying to spec this out right now and don't want to miss anything.

TIA

TIA,

Your list looks good; however, I would suggest you run at least 4" plastic conduit from your equipment rack area to your projector location. This way, if you want to add something in the future, you can simply snake it through to the projector. If you do this use 45 degree L's so you want have any 90 degree bends. I did this to my Sim2 300 plus. I also ran 1" plastic conduit from the equipment rack to each of my 8 speakers.

P.S. You may want to run a cable for future software upgrades assuming the 7200 provides for end user upgrades.

You will need a IR control wire.

Run at least a single composite video. Ya crappy I know but ya never know what you might want to do even as a whim.

I used long radius electrical conduit not plumbing PVC.
