None do... You must sell it on e-bay or trade it in at gamestop for less than half what you paid for it. The reason for that is many games are bought and people know how to re-shrink wrap them so they look like new. The other big reason is people buy games online without taxes and then in the past would return them to get even more money from the store since the store credits you the taxes back you didn't pay for...There are lots of scams that went on like those I mentioned and a few more I care not mention which have caused all major stores not to take any games, PC and console or DVD returns without a reciept.

Most stores will have a stated policy against such returns. That doesn't mean that they will refuse you though if you ask very nicely at their customer service desk.

I bought a game once and played it and it sucked. So I took that game back to the store I bought it at with receipt and luckily got a new one given to me still shrink wrapped. I then took that game to the local big box electronic store (BB or CC) and told them I wanted to return it for another game because it was a gift. They let me swap it out for another equally priced game.

I guess I'm the kind of people that ruin it for everyone......

Walmart should take back an unopened game without receipt. You'll get store credit though. I doubt any store will give u cash back without a receipt.

The only time I've even gotten cash back without a receipt was from home depot. I was returning several things with and without receipt and the lady just handed me cash for all of it.

i tried walmart but the lady was like " we dont return games over 49.99 " and most ps3 games are 59.99 so that took care of that.

any other suggestions?

how much does gamestop/eb games give u for unopened games?

Target will not allow you to return any item over $39.99without the card purchased with or the receipt. If under that amount they will give you store credit and you will be only able to do a no receipt return one more time within 365 days of the first return. If you are returning a used game and are just trying to get a new sealed one to exchange somewhere else Target won't allow it. If the game has been open you must exchange it for the exact same game, which can be from any platform, and they are supposed to open it.

You are basically asking where you can attempt "Return Fraud". I'm not going to be the one to tell you that it's wrong, cause I admit that I've done that before back in the past. I'm not proud of it all, however. I think it leads to bad Karma.

If the game is brand new and factory sealed, why not take it back to the place you bought it at, and try to talk to the store manager and reason with him. If that won't work, then try selling it on Craigslist for 20 percent off the retail price. The nice thing about Craigslist is that you don't have to deal with all the Ebay fee's and paypal fee's and shipping and all that. If it isn't a really popular game, then you are going to have to take off even more of a discount though.

I would avoid trading it in GameStop at all costs. They will give you pennies on the dollar for it.

Yeah, but guess what's going to happen. You're going to be driving down the street in a few days, and you're going to get a flat tire or something. I'm telling you, Karma is a *****. Back in my late teens/early 20's, I would do the "ole switcheroo" as I would call it, and never fail, some unexpected expense would seemingly come out of nowhere to ruin my Return Fraud high. Maybe a few days later I would get a ticket for running a red light, or some other strange thing that normally never ever happens. Nothing in this world is for free. Bad energy begets more bad energy.
