What sub should I run with my RF-82's. Most of the listening will be movies, however, I do not want the sub sounding "muddy" when I listen to music. My cheap Yamaha HITB sub does this....sounds great with movies but when you have a party you have to fiddle with the sub because it overpowers it.

I'd like to keep it at $500 or less. If that is not possible let me know what are some other options. Salesmen around here suck.

Or should I forget this big Klipsch purchase and go with Paradigms? Thoughts???

For $500, you can get one of the following:

1. SVS PB10-NSD

2. eD A3-300 w/ the upgraded driver

3. Hsu VTF-1, if music listening is a bigger portion of your use.

The SVS and the eD would definitely dig deeper than the Hsu.

EDIT: I think this thread is more appropriate in the subwoofer section.
