I bought an ax200u via live/ebay/paypal for 25% off, but am very unhappy with it. It has an amber tint to many scenes and some yellows are day-glo.

I can stick with the ax200u and try to get the thing to work right.

I could buy an HD65 for 17% off now, sell the ax200u for a profit, and have the hassle of trying to get the ax200u to work right. Problem here is that my wife saw rainbows on my old HD72/4x color wheel.

If your wife is susceptible to rainbows I'd stick with the AX200. Maybe a calibration disc will help with the image problem you're having.

I think the HD65 is a 5x color wheel, but it would still be a gamble. Also, I love having the lens shift option on LCDs...but the HD65 is portable too, and I plan to use one of these to replace my DV10 for showing movies on my deck.
