I recall reading an edition of Crutchfield's catalog which featured a couple of new Samsung A/V receivers that mated up with its Blu-ray players quite nicely, but I also recall them receiving negative feedback from the enthusiast hobbyist market...then, as quickly as the receivers appeared, they seemed to disappear and I never really heard anything else about 'em...

Does anyone know if Samsung is still in the receiver market? Not that I would consider buying one, I was just curious...

In late 2012, Samsung introed (3) AVRs with Class D amplifiers from Pulsus.

They were priced well, but did poorly in sonic performance...

Also they omitted some crucial features..

They did not sell well... And Samsung discontinued these..

Samsung has tried multiple attempts to penentrate the AVR market, apparently they don't do their homework... 😁

Just my $0.05... 👍😉

Thank you very much, M -- like I said, I was merely curious.

Thanks again!
