Hey didn't ask for a fair price, he asked for a "hot" price.
But yea, all kidding aside, $4000 seems good. But 400 hours only tells a small piece of the puzzle. What if it was hanging is a smoke filled bar for years with little to no use ?? What if it got rained on ?? What if those 400 were spent displaying the same image at full brightness?? etc, etc.
Through the course of selling a couple of CRT PJ's I've found that most buyers focus on hours, but that is only 5% of the equation in my mind.
Personally, I think $4000. sounds about right, plus shipping of course, but then I am biased as I have one for sale in the classifieds right now for that price with only 64 hours on it. Used once as far as I know, for one trade show, stored since, described as "mint" condition. My email is in my signature if anyone wants to contact me ?!.
Judging by Pauls add in the classified section (You know , the one you have to PAY for to VIEW an add) , I think the PJ is already in the US and this would save a US buyer any import duty or hassle getting it from up here in Weenie Land down to the US.
