This is the last step for me on getting everything the way i want it in my setup.

I have a 6tb media home and web server/pc/workstation built and working great. The network is all wired with my dir-655 and netgear gig switch.

i use 360's to both tvs. It will play all my mkv dvds, tv recordings and live tv perfect.

I use makemkv for ripping purposes, love it. I use sharks 007.

I believe i have everything needed to play blu ray on the server and 360's but its just not working.

Is there another codec to use or setting in sharks?

Do i need to setup an external player with media browser?

Any and all help greatly appreciated.

Thanks

You wont like my answer, but this just isnt going to happen. The bitrate of most bluray video is too high. Thats why your dvds work but your bluray discs dont.

I've scoured the internet trying to make the same thing happen. This article kind of explains why HD-DVDs work, but an mkv file made by simply remuxing that evo file into an mkv will not.
