I'm currently looking at a the Yamaha RX-V375BL or the Yamaha RX-V373BL home theater in a box, at bestbuy. For $250, $399 respectively. This will just be for my bedroom. Someone recommended Denon, and I was originally considering a Pioneer, but the Yamaha seems to have the highest raged review amongst the 3 brands.

I just recently went through the same process and purchased a Yamaha RX-V575 and so far am very happy with my decision. The sound is great, and everything is working good. I originally was looking at the Denon E300 or E400, Onkyo626, and Harmon Kardon 1700, but after some research and checking them out at my local stores......I ended up with the Yamaha due to overwhelming positive opinions and reviews from many Yamaha owners that I know and just reading through reviews, etc. I'm not a "audiophile" in anyway, so take that with a grain of salt. LOL

I'd say Yamaha, good sound, and reliable. My old Yamaha DSP-A590 is still working.
