Whats the best way to connect a HDTV to a Laptop?

I'm planning to buy a 30" Sony widescreen HDTV and i'm wondering what the best way is to connect it to my Dell 9300 laptop? It has an nVidia Go 6800 256MB installed at the moment but i'll be installing a Go 7800GTX 256MB later this week. I'm guessing i just need to get an HDMI DVI cable and use my DVI port.

Noone in the Home Theater Computers forum knows how to hook up an HDTV to a PC?
I don't have a laptop, but I connect my desktop to my LCD panel using DVI-D cables through my Radeon 9550 display card. Great way to watch DiVX movies while relaxing on the couch.
I checked out some other threads and it looks like DVI provides the same video quality as HDMI. The only difference is that DVI can't handle the audio as well like HDMI.
I think that would be the best option if your TV has HDMI input. Now, I know that the 7800 series for pc includes HDTV out via component for PC cards, not sure about the laptop versions though.
