Im new to this and my price range is around 4k-5k. Im looking for a flat tv with hdtv features i guess. What is LCD and Wega? is wega the best brand for gaming and dvd's? Thanks. Any tv's or comments will appreciated.
Whats the difference between a WEGA sony tv and Lcd?

The name "Wega" is just a Sony brand new. It doesn't really mean anything, except that it's supposed to represent their higher-end television sets.
There are Sony Wega sets which are flat-panel plasma, flat-panel LCD, as well as rear-projection LCD. Since you've posted on the rear-projection forum, you're most likely to get responses about the GWIII or GWIV, which are the names folks use to refer to the current RP-LCD "Grand Wega" sets.
