Whats the Easiest, No frills, User friendly Simple'est, DVD rec. for copying tapes ??

Hi, so whats the most simple, easy to use, no frills DVD recorder out there for making copies of my home movies.

Cheap would be nice as well.

All I will use it for is home movies (VHS) and Hi 8 tapes that I need to archive.

A combo unit or a stand alone recorder, does not matter.

I really dont have the time or desire to have to read a manual.
