Yes, that's the newest Consumer version out.

No press release on a newer Consumer version yet, except for the ONYX version, but that's not the newer version of the TH-42PX25U/P.

Just a whole new "High End" model.


For the commercial version, the 7UY is now out if you are interested.

TH-42PHD7UY, which is the professional ("commercial") HD version, is not yet available in the US. Due out by the end of the month.

so wait, that looks like contradictory answers. Is the commercial version out now? From what I can tell, the commercial ED model is out now, is there a consumer ED model out? Also, any word on when the consumer 7 model will be coming out? thanks once again!

The TH-42PWD7UY, the commerical ED version, is out and available for sale now. The HD version is not currently available. Panasonic hasn't set a firm date but are looking to roll it out by the end of October.
