Hello,

I've been spending too much time worrying about temps lately, but I'm curious to hear the forum's opinion on the ideal case temps. Taking into consideration the values of less fan noise, and prolonging hardware life, where do you think that leaves us for case temps? There is also the assumption that lower case temps offer more stability.

I've run case temps of 35C in the past, and right at 32C right now. It doesn't seem like alot, but this is coming from the sensor which is not next to my hard drives, or DVD drive. I'd like to get it down closer to 27C, but I'm not sure if that is something that is worth the effort or not. My Seagate Barracuda IV 80GB is going to be one of the hotter drives, from what I hear, so that almost makes me feel better that it was made to deal with higher temps.

27C=81F

32C=90F

35C=95F
