Trying to get an idea of screen size and picture quality. I jumped the gun and bought a screen.... It was a deal I couldn't let slip away. I bought an open box discounted Accuscreen 800007 119" 16:9 screen for $285 shipped. Will an HD65 look good on this bad boy?? Or should I wait for the HD20 1080p projector??

Please, post your screen size and tell me how it looks.

92" diagonal; Da-Lite HC (.9 Grey) screen. I don't even have to have it completely dark to watch a movie (but night-time is much better).

100" firing on a DIY WilsonArt Designer White Screen. It looks fantastic, although I've not found a great streak free cleaner yet so in really bright white scenes you can make out streaks, at least I can, no one else seems to notice them.

We watched on a 135 inch with hd70 1000 lumen pj for 2 years and it was ok. Brighter would've been better for daytime, but at night with lights off it was just like a movie theater, no problems and no complaints from anyone. In the winter we sometimes went to the warmer room with 110 inch screen and I hated watching on that one cause it seemed to small and the difference in brightness wasn't really noticable between the two.

You won't have a problem unless you want LCD tv brightness. I never turn my epson 6500 on high bright because its to bright and stresses my eyes for nighttime viewing. Just like those light sensors on tvs that adjust light output for various lighting situations, you won't want it to bright for movie viewing.

Did u want screen size for hd65 users?

If so, 110" 2.35 inside for daily movie watching which looks awesome, and is watchable during the day even with 3 huge windows that have blinds with very sheer curtains. In the evening, it looks like the image is standing on top of the screen rather than lying on it. For outdoors im also using my hd65 at 280" 2.35:1 which for the hd65 needs to be on bright mode with standard bulb brightness or the image is too dim to look great.
