I currently have a 42" Samsung DLP HLR-4266W.
I am assuming 1080p will be around to stay for a while, so I want to sell this television to get my hands on a true 1080p screen. I've been pondering on this for over a month now, so I figured I would put the question out there and see what the smartest people on the web think about my problem...
Strictly pricing aside, when should I buy a 1080p set, and why?
The reason I ask this, is because, I have wondered if there will not be any kind of changes soon to make 1080p even better, or something like that. I know technology changes faster than a speeding bullet, but I do think that with the right 1080p selection I could get 3-5 years out of it before desiring to buy another television.
Thanks to anyone who replies.
