Some have posted they have some on order. So where are you ordering your DVD's from?

I bought all of mine from BB.

I bought one from Amazon and one from Walmart

Stace
Amazon....my BB has been way to hit or miss. They are not even putting them out on the floor. Amazon gets them to me on Wed. So I'll go that route for now!
...sorry to interrupt guys, but if I go in Amazon > HD-DVD store it just give me a "coming soon" page....

am I missing something??

Let's see if this works:

I have three HDDVD's: POTO, Last Samurai and Swordfish. I bought them all from Amazon: free 2-day shipping via Amazon Prime and no sales tax.

I've got most of mine from Walmart as they seem to have the best prices locally. But I've picked up two of them from Best Buy as well and three from Amazon.
Best Buy and Amazon.
I suggest Circuit City.

Every HD DVD since launch that I've bought from Best Buy has been 29.99 and every HD DVD I've bought at CC has been 24.99.

Five dollars may not seem like a lot until you start putting them together. Five HD DVD's and I get a free one at CC.

The fact that CC is closer to me than BB also doesn't contribute to my preference... at all. ;)
Frys Electronics has HDDVD and most of their titles have been 19.99!!
CompUSA sent an e mail - hd dvd :)

locally

best buy, circuit city, wal mart,
I work at a CompUSA and haven't seen any discs yet, but the site says our store has them in stock. I'm surprised since our store only has Blu-ray propaganda, thanks to our big Sony section.
I've gotten all of mine from Best Buy but they sure make it hard. The HD-DVDs are hidden in the TV section-not in the DVD section. This past Tuesday I went in to buy Training Day and didn't see it out. I happened to ask the media manager and he said oh yeah I saw some new stuff in the back and he went and got me a copy. They hadn't even bothered to put it out and it was alread noon!
Bought Apollo 13 from Amazon last Saturday along with the HD-A1 from Sears.com. Hopefully both will arrive today, Friday and then, I can really start to enjoy my weekend. I'am a 53 year old kid, waiting for something very special.

I've had very bad luck (took forever) with mail order / pre-order from both of these vendors, however just walking to the local BB (any of them), works just fine. I like how they have them off by themselves (HD DVD), so far. Last week my normal store had a good supply of that weeks releases, more than I expected. :)

Seems it's getting better already. ;)
